General terms and conditions
MyFreedomAI – digital products
1. Seller and scope
These general terms and conditions apply to the purchase of digital content via MyFreedomAI.
The seller and contractual partner is:
Robert Kremer
Sole proprietorship
Klosengartenstr. 80
50374 Erftstadt
Germany
Email: info@ki-scale.de
VAT ID: DE182647663
These terms apply to consumers and – where applicable – to businesses that purchase digital products via the website.
The contract language for purchases via the English product pages is English. These terms are also available in German; in case of discrepancies, the German version applies, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection law.
2. Subject matter of the contract
The subject matter of the contract is the purchase of digital books or other digital PDF products offered via MyFreedomAI.
The title, content, scope and total price of each product are shown on the respective product page and in the order summary before the order is placed.
The products are offered exclusively as digital PDF files.
No printed book is delivered and there is no physical shipping.
The purchase is a one-time payment. No subscription is concluded with the purchase.
2a. Sales area and country check
The English edition is currently offered only to customers whose country of residence is a member state of the European Union. Further countries may be added later.
For tax reasons, the customer states their country of residence before placing the order. In addition, the country of the billing address and the issuing country of the payment card are checked.
If these details do not match, the order is reviewed manually before it is accepted. For this purpose, we may ask the customer for suitable evidence of their place of residence. Orders from countries outside the current sales area are not accepted.
3. Conclusion of the contract
The presentation of the digital book on the website serves to provide information about the product.
During the ordering process, the customer receives the legally required information before placing the order, in particular about the essential characteristics of the product and the total price.
Before placing the order, the customer has the opportunity to review their details and correct input errors.
By clicking the order button clearly labelled as subject to payment (“Order with obligation to pay”), the customer places a binding order.
When the customer completes the payment, the price is first reserved (authorised) on the payment card; it is not yet charged.
The contract is concluded when we accept the order. We accept the order by charging the reserved amount and making the download available; the customer is informed of this immediately on the confirmation page and by email.
If an order is subject to a manual review (section 2a), the customer is informed of this by email. If we cannot confirm the customer’s place of residence within the current sales area, we do not accept the order: no contract is concluded, the reservation is released and nothing is charged. Card reservations expire automatically after about seven days at the latest.
The contractual provisions, including these terms, can be accessed and saved on this page at any time. The essential contract details, including the customer’s consent to immediate delivery, are contained in the order confirmation sent by email.
4. Prices and payment
All prices stated to consumers are total prices including statutory VAT.
The total price of each product is shown on the product page and in the order summary.
There are no shipping costs.
Prices are stated and charged in euros.
For the English edition, payment is made by credit or debit card (including card-based wallets such as Apple Pay or Google Pay, where offered). Stripe is used for the technical processing of payments.
5. Provision of the digital product
After successful confirmation of payment, the purchased digital product is provided electronically as a PDF.
For this purpose, the buyer receives a personal, protected download link.
In addition, download access or a corresponding confirmation may be sent to the email address provided during the purchase.
There is no physical shipping.
For digital content, the content is legally deemed to have been provided as soon as the content or a suitable means of accessing or downloading it has been made available to the consumer.
For security reasons, the number of downloads may be limited. Currently, a maximum of five downloads per order is provided, unless otherwise stated for the respective product.
The personal download link is intended exclusively for the buyer and may not be passed on to third parties.
If the download does not work for technical reasons, the buyer can contact info@ki-scale.de.
6. Technical requirements
An internet connection is required for the download.
To read the book, the buyer needs a device or software that can open and display PDF files.
7. Rights of use
Upon full payment, the buyer receives a simple, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the purchased PDF file for their own personal use.
In particular, the complete book may not be resold, made publicly available, reproduced or distributed to third parties without the corresponding authorisation, unless permitted by law.
All further rights remain with the respective rights holder.
8. Right of withdrawal
Consumers are generally entitled to the statutory right of withdrawal.
Special statutory rules apply to digital content that is not supplied on a tangible medium.
If the digital book is to be provided immediately after purchase, the consumer’s express consent required for this is obtained before the contract is concluded.
At the same time, the consumer confirms their acknowledgement that, under the statutory conditions, they lose their right of withdrawal once performance of the contract has begun.
Further information can be found in the separate withdrawal policy.
9. Rights in the event of defects
The statutory provisions on digital products and the statutory rights in the event of defects apply to the digital book.
10. Health notice
Insofar as digital products deal with health topics, their content serves general information and the communication of knowledge.
It does not constitute individual medical advice, diagnosis or treatment and cannot replace such advice.
In the event of health complaints, illnesses or individual medical questions, qualified medical professionals should be consulted.
11. Final provisions
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, taking into account mandatory consumer protection provisions.
Information on the processing of personal data can be found in the privacy notice.
